These are <strong>investment grants for the manufacturing of COVID-19 related products<\/strong>. This call, which is <strong>non-competitive<\/strong>, has a budget allocation of <strong>5 million euros<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Below, we summarize the <strong>main characteristics<\/strong> of these grants:<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>BENEFICIARIES<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>SMEs<\/strong> that are carrying out, or plan to carry out, an investment in a work center located in <strong>Galicia<\/strong> and that allows for the <strong>manufacturing of COVID-19 related products<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>TYPES OF PROJECT<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Investment projects<\/strong> <strong>that enable the manufacturing of COVID-19 related products,<\/strong> such as the following:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Medicines (including vaccines) and treatments, their intermediate products, active pharmaceutical ingredients, and the raw materials necessary for their production.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Medical devices<\/strong>, hospital and medical equipment (including respirators, PPE, and diagnostic tools), as well as raw materials necessary for their production.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Disinfectants<\/strong> and their intermediate products, as well as chemical raw materials necessary for their production.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Data collection\/processing tools<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><u>PROJECT REQUIREMENTS<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The <strong>project execution period<\/strong> may not exceed <strong>September 30, 2021 (possibility of requesting an extension)<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>The aid cannot be combined with other investment aid for the same eligible costs (it can be combined with aid in the form of guarantees to cover losses).<\/li>\n<li>The aid must have an <strong>incentive effect<\/strong> for the submitted project. The aid will be considered to have an incentive effect for projects started from <strong>February 1, 2020<\/strong>. For projects started before February 1, 2020, the aid will be considered to have an incentive effect if it is necessary to accelerate or expand the scope of the project; in such cases, aid can only be requested to cover additional costs related to acceleration efforts or scope expansion.<\/li>\n<li>The eligible <strong>investment<\/strong> must be <strong>equal to or greater than \u20ac100,000.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><u>ELIGIBLE COSTS<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Investment costs necessary for the production of the listed products will be eligible. Investments may materialize in the following concepts:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Civil works<\/strong> necessary for the installation of the equipment described in the following sections, with a limit of 20% of the total eligible investment. Investments consisting of the acquisition of land, whether built or unbuilt, will not be eligible.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Machinery<\/strong>: process machines and capital goods, as well as the specific installations necessary for their operation.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Tooling<\/strong>: a set of tools that can be used autonomously or in conjunction with machinery, such as molds, dies, or templates.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Other investments in tangible fixed assets necessary for the adaptation of production<\/strong> processes.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Intangible assets<\/strong> directly related to the projects supported.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong> <\/strong><strong><u>TYPE AND INTENSITY OF AID<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The grant percentage will be <strong>75% of the eligible investment<\/strong> with a <strong>maximum aid limit<\/strong> of <strong>\u20ac800,000 per company<\/strong> (except for companies in the fishing and aquaculture sector (\u20ac120,000) and primary agricultural product production (\u20ac100,000)).
