The Xunta de Galicia Approves a €25 Million Grant for a Salmon Farming Project in Burela
Strategic Project for the Diversification of the Sector in Galicia
We are pleased to share that the Xunta de Galicia has approved a €25M grant for the recirculating salmon farming plant project we are developing together with SEAFOOD LEGACY SPAIN in Burela. This is undoubtedly a decisive step toward consolidating this project.
At Impulso Industrial Alternativo, we have taken on a key role in the project, providing comprehensive technical consultancy services, including the application, monitoring, and justification of public funding. On the engineering side, IMPULSO has carried out the preliminary studies, as well as all basic and detailed engineering, and technical assistance for obtaining the permits for the salmon farming facility. IMPULSO will now play an important role in the direction and supervision of the construction works, which are set to begin in the coming months.
We would like to express our sincere appreciation to Jonny Atle Marøy and Roger Marøy, among others, for placing their trust in our team to accompany them in this challenge. Their vision and commitment have been essential throughout this journey.
