IMPULSO and FIAB promote access to public calls for the food and drink industries

Both firms have signed an agreement to inform companies in sector

The Spanish Federation of Food and Drinks Industries (FIAB) and IMPULSO have signed a collaboration agreement which will guarantee access of the food and drink companies to all the information available on calls for official aid that are of interest to the sector. The agreement has been signed by the General Director of FIAB, Mauricio García de Quevedo, and Jorge Suárez Díaz, CEO of IMPULSO.

Thanks to this collaboration, FIAB members and their associated companies will enjoy a free information service on all calls for public aid, official financing lines, support programs, and/or others of interest to the food and drinks industry, of a European, national and regional nature.

The information service includes a preliminary diagnosis of the most appropriate aid programs for the projects that the members of the FIAB wish to analyze, among which are investment projects, R&D, rural development, energy efficiency, improvement of environmental performance, internationalization, and all those that may be of interest to the IAB.

The food and drinks industry is composed mostly of small and medium-sized enterprises. This sector has a highly fragmented structure, in which 96% of the business fabric consists of SMEs. With this collaboration, FIAB wishes to provide its members with access to a large amount of public funds that will contribute to the growth of the sector, increase its competitiveness and encourage innovation and technological development in its processes and products.

As a representative of the country’s first industrial sector, FIAB has valued this agreement highly, as it will allow the food and beverage industry to draw on all the knowledge of a key player in aid management consultancy.
