2027 Call for Grants for Productive Investments in Catalonia Advanced
Applications can be submitted now; however, the investment cannot commence until 01/04/2027.
IMPULSO informs you that the Department of Business and Labour of the Generalitat de Catalunya has advanced the 2027 call for the GRANTS FOR PRODUCTIVE INVESTMENTS IN CATALONIA line, to finance industrial investment projects that enable the creation or expansion of productive capacities, as well as the modernization of existing production processes, through the incorporation of new machinery, technology, and production equipment.
This line has 37.6 million euros for the 2027 call.
Below, we summarize the main characteristics of the program:
BENEFICIARIES
Industrial companies (CCAE 10, 11, and 13 to 32) with productive activity in Catalonia or those planning to establish a new production center in Catalonia. Both SMEs and large companies.
The activity code must be included in the company’s articles of association before the publication of the call. In the case of a newly established company, it must be included from its incorporation.
TYPES OF PROJECTS
Types of projects:
- Creation of new industrial production plants.
- Implementation of new production processes.
- Expansion or modernization of existing production lines.
- Introduction of advanced manufacturing technologies.
- Projects incorporating automation, digitalization, or Industry 4.0.
- Investments aimed at improving the energy or environmental efficiency of the production process.
*Machinery investment must represent at least 60% of the total project cost.
Minimum investment:
- For micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises: €100,000.
- For large companies: €1 million.
TYPE AND INTENSITY OF AID
Non-repayable grant of up to 20% of the eligible investment, with a maximum of €500,000 per project.
APPLICATION DEADLINE
Application submission deadline open until 03/02/2027 at 2:00 PM.
IMPORTANT: The application can be submitted now; however, the investment cannot commence until 01/04/2027.
The execution of the investment will be from 01/04/2027 to 04/28/2028. Investments initiated before 01/04/2027 are excluded from funding.
