From energy savings to financing: IDAE and CAE grants for companies

We would also like to remind you that the 2026 call for the IDAE INNOVAE Programme is open, with a total budget allocation of €115 million. The following subprogrammes stand out within this programme:
- Innovative flagship projects for energy savings and energy efficiency in the industrial sector (€30 million), to support unique and innovative industrial projects that incorporate technological improvements in production processes and enable a measurable reduction in final energy consumption. The improvement must result in a direct and verifiable reduction in the process’s final energy consumption.
- Flagship projects to replace cooling generators (€25 million), to promote innovative flagship projects to renew and replace large direct and indirect mechanical compression refrigeration systems in facilities to which the Safety Regulation for Refrigeration Installations and its supplementary technical instructions apply (Royal Decree 552/2019 of 27 September).

Application deadline: until 2026-11-18 at 12:00.
TYPE AND INTENSITY OF AID
Non-repayable grants of up to 65%, depending on company size and the project location.
