Peru's mega-prisons are designed in Asturias: this is the project of an engineering firm located in the Llanera Technology Park

Impulso engineering firm has designed the largest prisons in the Latin American country, each with capacity for 3,200 inmates, and construction has just resumed

Ica is one of the 26 regions into which Peru is divided. Located in the southwestern part of the country, not far from the famous Nazca Lines, its territory is mostly desert. There, in the middle of a vast plain, a large complex is under construction: a 100-hectare area enclosed by a wall featuring a concrete watchtower. These are the works for the Ica Mega-prison, the project to build the largest prison in the Andean country, with a capacity for 3,168 inmates (men and women) distributed across 944 cells. The macro-prison was designed in Asturias: it is a product of Impulso, an engineering firm located in the Llanera Technology Park with a specialized architecture department.
