The LIfe Programme from the European Comission has launched its 2018 call for projects proposals

Programme Purpose

The purpose of the programme is to fund demonstration projects which contribute to the implementation, updating and development of the EU environmental and climate policy and legislation.

Beneficiaries

Public bodies, private commercial organisations and private non-commercial organisations (including NGOs).

Project Requirements

Average length of projects: 2-5 years
Individual projects or collaborative projects
Funding will be granted following quality criteria, independently from the EU country in which beneficiaries have their head-office.

Personnel costs
Depreciation of equipment
Costs of consumables, supplies and travels
Subcontracting costs
General expenses

Type And Intensity

Non-repayable grant
55% for “Traditional” projects (best-practice, demonstration, pilot or information, awareness and dissemination projects)
